Transhumance. On the cattle trail to the Fanes alpine pastures
- 08:30 AM-06:00 PM
A narrow path across an impressive, wide scree desert. To this day, the farmers of La Val drive their cattle over this steep pass to the summer pastures of Fanes. On the other side of the pass, the landscape is different: limestone pavements predominate, interspersed with small and large patches of green - feeding grounds for cows and marmots.
