What happens when the square in Colfosco fills with food stands?
An evening stroll suddenly turns into a little journey of flavours. Between the church, the lights of the square and the sizzling stands, there is always something new to taste just a few steps away.
What’s the best way to experience the evening?
Arrive with time and a bit of curiosity. From stand to stand, try a local dish here, something sweet there, maybe with a glass of wine in hand and a chat with the people behind the counter.
What kind of flavours can you expect to find?
A mix of traditional dishes, regional specialities and Ladin recipes. Local ingredients, well-known classics and a few creative surprises prepared with care.
What happens later in the evening?
At 9 pm, the Colfosco–Corvara brass band fills the square with music. Some people stop to listen, others keep strolling between the stands, enjoying the lively atmosphere.
Why do people suddenly look up toward the mountains?
Because the Brigata Tridentina via ferrata lights up above the village. Members of the Croderes climbing group illuminate the route along the rock face, creating a striking view that can be seen right from the square.
