Festa dl pan - Bread Festival
And also this year we celebrate the Bread Festival, an event dedicated to one of the simplest and most treasured foods of our tradition.
The event will be hosted by the local mountain huts and businesses of La Crusc / Santa Croce.
In the days leading up to the festival, there will be special moments.
The festival day itself on Sunday will culminate in a joyful celebration with typical dishes, music, encounters and workshops for both children and adults, all centered around bread and the traditions that surround it.
A warm and inclusive event, open to all – a moment to reconnect with the land, with craftsmanship, and with each other.
The event will take place even in case of bad weather.
Follow the SS244 Val Badia road to Badia, then take the San Linert road until you reach the parking area of the La Crusc 1 cable car. With the La Crusc 1 cable car you can reach the Nagler and Lé huts; continuing with the La Crusc 2 cable car, you arrive at the La Crusc hut.
On foot:
From the parking area of the La Crusc 1 cable car, follow the forest road (trail no. 7A) towards La Crusc. Along the way you will pass the Alfarëi farmstead, the L'Tamá hut, the Nagler hut and the Lé hut. Continuing along the same route, you will finally reach the La Crusc hut and Ranch da André.
Ranch da André can also be reached from La Val by following the signs for Furnacia. From there, the hut can be reached with a walk of about 30 minutes.

The bread path: From field to ovenJourney into our tradition today during a guided hike through the fields, as we discover the history of bread together with Helga, our herb expert.
We visit an old mill and a historic oven, where Matteo, a farmer from the Alfarëi farm, shows and explains how they were used. Meanwhile, we enjoy the authentic taste of bread.
The guides speak Italian and German.

Amid stories, recipes, and local flavours, we’ll listen to those who live the culture of the region every day. The whole event will be accompanied by folk songs and a special aperitif (in Italian).
