DetailsFrom ski hut to ski hut. From top wine to top wine. We present the Wine Skisafari or in Ladin language De dl vin.
The wine tasting tour on skis, with some of the best wines in South Tyrol, is scheduled for March. The aim of the event is to round off the winter season dedicated to excellent food and wine in style, with an exclusive tasting session in the participating ski huts.
The Alpine-Mediterranean climate, the diversity of the sun-drenched soils, the competence and sensitivity of the winemakers: this is the blend that makes Alto Adige wine so popular with wine lovers all over the world.
They are Alpine wines with a Mediterranean flair, rich in character and proud of their special qualities. The various grapes grow here in South Tyrol in the smallest of spaces, between Mediterranean vegetation and snow-capped peaks, at altitudes between 200 and 1000 metres. The winegrowers have studied the sites carefully and, depending on the soil and altitude, different grape varieties have been cultivated. These include three varieties native to South Tyrol, the two red Schiava and Lagrein and the white Gewürztraminer.
Conscientiousness and passion, constant striving for quality, innovative spirit, sustainability and joy of life: these are what Alto Adige wine has in common with Alta Badia. And this has resulted in a valuable collaboration.
Alta Badia, the Dolomite region for epicurean holidays, supports, among other things, the responsible use of alcohol under the motto: taste, enjoy, but don't overdo it.
Too much alcohol on the slopes slows down reflexes and can cause accidents even on the ski slopes.
Please remember, when skiing, the consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderation, fines will be imposed if the alcohol level exceeds 0.5 per mille.
