SunRisa - Skiing at sunrise

Virgin ski slopes, majestic mountain scenery and an excellent breakfast with healthy regionally-sourced ingredients.
On Monday 19th December some lifts on the high plateau between La Villa, Corvara and San Cassiano will open for business just as dawn is breaking so that skiers can enjoy both the sunrise at 2,000 metres and the perfect, undisturbed ski slopes which have been prepared during the night before with the aid of numerous snow groomers.
The perfect complement to this fascinating skiing experience is a breakfast with high-quality and healthy regional ingredients to savour in the participating ski huts. To guarantee the highest quality, the composition of the breakfast is created together with Elena Casiraghi, nutrition expert - Equipe Enervit.
The participating mountain huts and their specialities:
Ütia de Bioch: Warm porridge, honey and cinnamon
Ütia I Tablá: Local white yoghurt with buckwheat granola
Las Vegas Lodge: Potatoes, bacon and eggs
Piz Arlara: Pancake with honey and fresh cheese
Club Moritzino: Buckwheat cake with apples
Access to the ski lifts with the ordinary ski pass and the breakfast can be purchased directly in the participating huts.
Lifts opening:
7:15 a.m.: Special opening of the Col Alt - Costes dal Ega - Arlara - Piz Sorega lifts.
from 7:30 a.m.: Opening of the connecting lifts Bamby, La Fraina, Ciampai, Bioch, La Brancia, Braia Fraida.
*Please note: The Piz La Ila gondola lift is not part of the event and will open to the public as usual at 8:30 a.m.
Shuttle bus to the starting points in Corvara and San Cassiano:
From 6:45 am to 7:45 am, every 10 – 15 minutes ca.
The event has been certified as “Going Green Event” being organized and realized according to sustainability criteria.
During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

Refund information
The refund will be made with a medical certificate or if the event is cancelled by the Alta Badia Tourism Cooperative.

Follow the SS244 Val Badia road towards La Villa and reach the parking place of the Piz La Ila cable car.
