Santa Maria dal ciüf - Ferragosto festival
For the village of La Villa, this festival is one of the highlights of the summer. After the Holy Mass in the church you can look forward to culinary specialities, live music and of course the traditional parade at 2.30 p.m. with Ladin costumes, music bands and floats.
The theme for this year is: 100 years of La Villa’s firefighters.
These groups will provide top entertainment for you today:
11:30 AM – La Ila music band
1:00 PM – Folk dance group Uniun Bal Popular Val Badia
2:30 PM – Traditional parade with the music bands of La Ila, La Val and San Martin
3:30 PM – San Martin music band
6:30 PM to 11:00 PM – TirolingStones

Follow the SS244 Val Badia road until you reach La Villa. The festival takes place in the park in front of the La Villa ski school.
The parade goes through the main street in the centre of La Villa.
