Santa Maria dal ciüf - Ferragosto festival

For the village of La Villa, this festival is one of the highlights of the summer. Culinary specialities, live music and of course the traditional parade at 2.30 p.m. with Ladin costumes, music bands and floats. Already in winter, the various associations of the village start to organise the parade, which this year is entitled "Sön munt" - On the mountain pasture, and shows the history of life on the mountain from the past to the present.

11:30 - Music band La Ila
13:00 - Schuhplattler Val Badia
14:30 - Traditional parade with the music bands La Ila, La Val and the Schützenkapelle Pichl-Gsies
15:30 - Concert by the Schützenkapelle Pichl-Gsies
18:30 to 23:00 - The Jam'son

Directions
Follow the SS244 Val Badia road until you reach La Villa. The festival takes place in the park in front of the La Villa ski school.
The parade goes through the main street in the centre of La Villa.
