Momënc Ladins - Ladin Moments
Discover La Val at its most authentic. Momënc Ladins takes you through the village’s historic Viles, bringing together Ladin culture, traditional cuisine, music and special encounters in one authentic experience.
The route begins at St. Barbara Church, where free guided tours offer an insight into its history. Nearby, Ostaria Vedla invites you to a free tasting of selected South Tyrolean wines from Cantina Caldaro. The La Val Music Band serves traditional Cajincí t’ega, while the historic old bell tower also opens its doors exclusively for the occasion.
At Ciablun, traditional flavours and homemade dishes take centre stage before the route continues towards Runch. Here, the historic Ciasa Rungg opens its doors while local farmers prepare traditional Crosti in the old wood-fired oven. At the highest point of the route in Biei, freshly prepared Tutres and Cajincí arestis await.
On the way back, the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park offers a playful way to discover more about the area’s flora, fauna and geology. At the Young Farmers’ station, there are activities for all ages and homemade apple strudel. The culinary journey ends at Lüch de Survisc with traditional Ladin desserts and homemade specialities. Traditional melodies accompany the route, creating special moments along the way.
