New: intermediate course starting in Alta Badia
In addition to the usual routes, with start and finish in the Cortina area, this year there will be a new route of intermediate-length (34km and 1800m of altitude difference), with start in Alta Badia and finish in Cortina. This route is to seal the collaboration between the two outstanding locations in the Dolomites.
The start of the Alta Badia course is scheduled to take place in La Villa, at the Gran Risa parterre, at 9.00 am.
The runners continue along the artists' path to San Cassiano and up to the Piz Sorega - Pralongiá plateau. Once at the top, the route heads towards Pralongià and then down to Armentarola. From here, a long climb leads to Mount Lagazuoi, witness to the events of the First World War, and down to Pocol.
