Amid blooming alpine pastures and age-old mountain huts, alpine cheese is born — a product of slowness, ancestral knowledge, and life at mid-altitude. At Ütia I Tablá, these authentic flavors take center stage in a day dedicated to the mountains, their rhythms, and their culture. From 11:00 AM, local cheesemakers open their world to guests, offering the chance to taste the cheese where it is made, in a direct exchange between those who craft and those who savor. Starting at 1:30 PM, live music fills the crisp mountain air, blending with the landscape in melodies that speak of land, tradition, and freedom.
Ütia I Tablá is situated on the plateau between Corvara, La Villa, and San Cassiano at about 2,040 m.
By cable car:
From Corvara – take the Col Alto cable car, then the Braia Fraida chairlift, which brings you directly to the hut.
From La Villa – use the Piz La Ila cable car; the hut is a 20‑minute walk from the top station.
From San Cassiano – take the Piz Sorega cable car; about 40–50 minutes hike on a scenic route to reach the hut
