Ütia Bioch - Grain delights in the mountains - Munts dl altonn
This event celebrates regional grain varieties. Simple ingredients that reflect the character of the mountains are reinterpreted in dishes specially created for the occasion:
-Spelt dough pockets with red beet filling in herb butter
-Egg ribbon pasta made with hemp flour in a light Graukäse sauce
-Buckwheat muffin with cream and homemade lingonberries
Accompanied by live music from singer-songwriter Julian Moling from La Val, whose repertoire blends pop, rock, country and original songs, and surrounded by a breathtaking alpine panorama, the event offers a memorable atmosphere of conviviality and local flavours.
Free admission.
In summer, the Ütia Bioch hut (2079 m) is easily reached via cable cars:
From San Cassiano: Piz Sorega cable car + 30‑min walk.
From La Villa: Piz La Ila cable car + approx. 60‑min walk.
From Corvara: Col Alto cable car + around 60‑min walk.
Alternatively, for hikers:
Park in San Cassiano, take bus to Valparola Pass, follow the Setsas Circular Route to Pralongià, then 30 min to the hut – total around 4 h.
