Saus di paurs - Farmers' flavours
An authentic experience to discover the Ladin farming tradition and the genuine flavours of the mountains.
Starting from the village of Badia, a pleasant walk through meadows and traditional mountain farms leads across the alpine landscape. Along the way, fresh ingredients such as milk, eggs and flour are collected directly from the farms. Accompanied by Helga, an expert nature guide, participants will also learn to recognise wild mountain herbs known for their aromatic, culinary and beneficial properties.
The walk concludes at the L’Tamá mountain hut, where a traditional Ladin dish is prepared together using the ingredients gathered along the route. The freshly prepared dish is then enjoyed for dinner in the warm and convivial atmosphere of a mountain hut in the heart of the Dolomites.
This experience was created by the students of the ITE school in La Villa.
