Introduction to ice climbing
Discover Alta Badia in a new way with this thrilling ice climbing experience. With expert guides, you willl gradually learn the basics of climbing on ice, reconnecting with the natural movement of your body. A perfect challenge for those looking to try something new in a breathtaking environment!
Programme:
• 9:00 AM – Meet at Capanna Alpina (San Cassiano)
• 45-minute hike to the waterfalls
• Introduction & guided practice on ice climbing
• Return hike to Capanna Alpina
Included:
• Local alpine guides
• Technical equipment: ice axes & crampons provided
Note: This activity depends on weather conditions and will be confirmed based on temperature forecasts.
• Bring the confirmation of the reservation (also in digital format).
• Thermal & layered clothing for cold temperatures
• Stiff mountain boots with a sturdy sole and excellent grip.
Soft or trekking boots are not suitable.
The refund will be made with a medical certificate or if the event is cancelled by the Alta Badia Tourism Cooperative.
Ice climbing
Follow the SS244 Val Badia road towards La Villa, then the SS37 to San Cassiano for approximately 7 km until you reach the parking place Sciaré.
In order to encourage sustainable mobility, choose environmentally friendly means of transportation, such as public transport.
Reach the meeting point by bus: bus stop S. Cassiano (Badia), Sciaré – line 465.
