Alta Badia Cocktail Week - Hotel Tofana Explorer's Home
On the occasion of the second night of the Alta Badia Cocktail Week, Hotel Tofana Explorer’s Home celebrates the local territory and creativity through three signature drinks that reinterpret the flavours, aromas and atmospheres of the mountains with a contemporary twist. Three different cocktails inspired by distinct moments of a day in Alta Badia, combining freshness, balsamic notes, bold contrasts and the unmistakable character of alpine mixology.
Here are the three drinks you can enjoy:
ALPINE TIDE
The day begins with frost on the larch trees and a crisp bite in the air. Gin Portofino opens the sip with citrus and Mediterranean botanicals, while pine-infused grappa takes it into the heart of the forest and elderflower softens the profile. Lime and citrus bitters keep it dry and bright, served in a coupe with a slice of dried grapefruit.
RESIN
The slopes close, your hands are still cold and the scent of Swiss pine fills the stube. Wild Turkey, Campari and Vermouth del Professore create an amber, bitter and bold aperitif, while Swiss pine grappa brings out its resinous character. A short splash of soda makes it fresher and lighter, finished with fresh orange.
RED ECHO – non-alcoholic
On the snow, sounds become softer and only footsteps remain. Red berries and juniper berries, alpine herb tea, mint honey and thyme-infused lemon come together in a lively and sparkling non-alcoholic highball. The red of the berries against the snow and the thyme on the finish echo the final walk before darkness falls.
Guest Bartender Edoardo Spagnoli from Cotti Spiriti in Milan will accompany the evening with drinks specially created for the occasion.
