Ütia Bioch - Discovering mushrooms and their flavors
In autumn, the forest turns into a silent and fragrant paradise – with mushrooms taking center stage. At the Ütia Bioch hut, an event dedicated to the world of mushrooms will take place. Featuring an expert mycologist and live musical accompaniment. Beforehand, a guided excursion with mycologist Andrea, followed by a tasting of the collected mushroom varieties at the hut.
In summer, Ütia Bioch (2079 m) is easily reached via cable cars:
From San Cassiano: Piz Sorega cable car + 30‑min walk.
From La Villa: Piz La Ila cable car + approx. 60‑min walk.
From Corvara: Col Alto chairlift + around 60‑min on foot.
Alternatively, for hikers:
Park in San Cassiano, take bus to Valparola Pass, follow the Setsas Circular Route to Pralongià, then 30 min to the hut – total around 4 h.
