Sellaronda Skimarathon
The international ski touring night marathon for trained ski tourers
Canazei, 22.03.2024

During the Sellaronda Skimarathon, teams of two athletes, with touring skis and skins, tackle the Dolomite passes of Pordoi, Sella, Val Gardena and Campolongo.
The participants start at sunset and, equipped with headlamps, ski through the night landscape of the Dolomites. They cover a distance of 42 kilometres (26 mi) with an altitude difference of 2,700 metres (8858 ft). The route runs clockwise and participants start each year alternately from one of the four villages around the Sella Group: Corvara, Arabba, Canazei and Selva.
The Sellaronda Skimarathon is an exciting and extremely demanding race that requires targeted training and good adaptability, especially in the event of sudden changes in the weather: an exciting race, unique in the world.
