Hike and Jazz in Alta Badia

When and where28.06.2022
  • 02:00 PM-04:00 PM
Puez-Odle Nature Park

Concert of the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige at the Gardenacia Hut with the Duo Schriefl/Bär with the musicians:

Matthias Schriefl from Germany (trumpet, flugelhorn, tuba, accordion, alphorn, voice)
Johannes Bär from Austria (tuba, alphorn, beatbox, percussion, voice)

What is forbidden in the world of music is especially fun for Schriefl and Bär: a Händel piece is performed as rock'n'roll, a popular song is deformed with relish, a yodel is made to groove, but also a heartbreaking ballad is played puristically. In addition to brass instruments and vocals, two alphorns are used here and explore the limits of this instrument in a new way.
