Sustainability and hospitality

In Alta Badia, in the heart of the South Tyrolen Dolomites, sustainability and hospitality are values that go hand in hand. They are very important to us, and we nurture them with practical measures and decisions.

Of course, we are only too aware of the difficulties and the constraints upon us. However, we believe that environmental sustainability is a genuine, necessary value that can be put into practice, and that it should be a goal for all of us who live here, and for all of you who come here to visit us.

In recent years, restaurants, hotels and mountain huts have increasingly favoured a cuisine that is geared towards using local products.

Increasing attention is also paid to the reduction of rubbish. Waste separation is not merely a flagship policy, of course, but a moral obligation.

We know that it is the small daily gestures from each and every one of us that lay the best foundations for the future.

These thoughts have given rise to a number of interesting projects which have as their prime goal the protection of our environment.
