Excursions with your dog

There is a large choice of hiking routes in Alta Badia for our four-legged friends

Which hiking tracks or excursions are best suited to your dog? This actually depends on the dog; whilst some are athletic and active, others tend to be somewhat lazier. In Alta Badia, you are bound to find the right routes for both the dog and its master.

The flat wide paths in the town and village centres are particularly suitable for walks with dogs. If, however, your preference is for higher up, then there is a good choice of easy tracks on the Pralongiá - Piz La Ila - Piz Sorega Plateau.

It goes without saying that you can take dogs on cable cars (on a leash) and on chairlifts (please note that not every dog likes) in the whole Alta Badia area. There are dog toilets along the hiking routes situated between the Movimënt Parks on the plateau, and at the mountain stations of the lifts and in the dog-friendly mountain huts (Ütia Pralongiá/Corvara, Ütia I Tablá/San Cassiano, Ütia Boconara/Corvara) dog bars ensure that your canine friend will not go thirsty.

In the buses of the South Tyrol transport network, you can take your dog with you, provided you remember to bring a lead and a muzzle.
