CANCELLATION CONDITIONS OF THE ACCOMMODATION
• Any cancellation must be in writing (fax, e-mail) and has to be communicated to the establishment respecting the conditions herein laid down.
• Any booking made may be cancelled either entirely or in part and without any penalty being applied up to 30 days prior to the date of arrival.
• For any cancellation or variation made up to 10 days prior to arrival the establishment retains the right to keep any deposit already paid.
• For any cancellation or variation made up to 5 days prior to the arrival the establishment has the right to keep a sum equivalent to 75% of the cost of the holiday booked.
• For any cancellation made after 5 days prior to the arrival date or in circumstances of “no show” or late arrival or indeed in case of early departure the establishment has the right to insist on payment of the full booking cost for the entire period.
• In the case of special offers or last minute bookings no cancellation of the booking is provided for and the entire sum shall be considered as due.
• Except in circumstances where an agreement to fix an alternative arrival time has been established the booked room or rooms will be held until 9.00 pm of the arrival day itself. After such time the establishment is to be deemed free of any responsibility to hold the room and the booking is considered as automatically cancelled (time limit).
• On check-in the establishment has the right to ask payment for the full cost of the stay or to require a pre-authorisation by credit card of the said payment.
• The cost of the stay does not include the holiday tax to be paid, this needing to be paid to the establishment direct at the time of payment for the stay.
• The proprietor declines any responsibility relative to any additional costs or extra purchases made by the client and likewise any responsibilty for any circumstances caused by forza maggiore or for causes not directly attributable to the establishment and whereby services offered to the client are either totally or partially not available.
• Should the establishment not be able to respect the terms of the confirmed booking it shall be the responsibility of the proprietor to find for the client a similar standard of accommodation and at similar conditions or to propose an alterantive solution to the client. Should the client not accept the solution proposed the establishment is required to refund all sums already paid as booking charges and is then considered free of whatsover further obligation towards the client. The conditions of the present point are not to be applied when the change to the booking is deemed to be of a small and inconsequential nature.
• To guarantee a greater degree of certainty it is however advised to the client to take out a relevant insurance policy.
