This programme presents several examples of a genre that was known in 18th century Germany as the “Sonate auf Konzertenart” (concerto-style sonata): the form and character of the concerto, with a reduced and more intimate instrumentation.
Works by Telemann, Vivaldi and Bach will be performed.
