Following the Giro D’Italia, the long distance road bicycle race for professional cyclists and climbing the Dolomite pass roads is the perfect combination for every bicycle enthusiast. The bike guides Alta Badia accompany you along the decisive stages of the 95th Giro.

The package is valid from 20.05.12 to 28.05.12 with possible arrival on Sunday or Monday and includes:

• 7 nights in the choosen accommodation
• 6 Maxim energy snacks
• 4 guided road bike tours

1. To the finish line of the stage Limone del Garda – Falzes
   22.05.12: we ride from Badia to Falzes along the Passo Furcia. Distance: 65.7 km, vertical height gain: 1,204 meters. In Falzes we watch the arrival of the 16th stage of the Giro. Back to Alta Badia with shuttle bus.
   
2. The climbs of the Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego
   23.05.12: Alta Badia – Passo Falzarego – Passo Giau - Pecol - Passo Falzarego - Alta Badia. Distance: 89.5 km, vertical height gain: 2,645 meters . We watch the athletes climbing up the steep pass roads. Back to Alta Badia with the bike or shuttle bus.
   
3. Alta Badia - Passo Sella - Alpe di Pampeago
   25.05.12: we ride the final kilometres of the stage Treviso - Alpe di Pampeago / Fiemme. At Alpe di Pampeago we can see twice the athletes riding by. Distance: 83.7 km, vertical height gain: 2,234 meters. Back to Alta Badia with shuttle bus.
   
4. Alta Badia – Schlanders/Silandro – Stilfser Joch/Passo Stelvio
   26.05.12: We climb the famous Passo Stelvio/Stilfser Joch to watch the arrival of the last mountain stage. Distance: 41.0 km, a vertical height gain: 2,234 meter. From Schlanders/Silandro to Alta Badia with shuttle bus.

With more than 1,200 km of slopes, powder snow and brilliant sunshine, Alta Badia and the entire ski area of the Dolomites are a true winter paradise. The ski area Alta Badia is because of its central position in the Dolomiti Superski area and more than 500 km of slopes with direct ski connection, known as the "heart of the Dolomites".
The package is best suitable for good skiers.
