Südtirol Ski Trophy
Aleksander Aamodt Kilde wins for the second time
In December, four Alpine Ski World Cup races were held in South Tyrol in only four days, a top performance for the participating athletes.
Since 2016, the province of South Tyrol has sponsored a trophy, which will be given to the athlete who scores the most FIS points in the four races. Athletes must participate in at least one race each in Val Gardena and in Alta Badia, although participation in the parallel giant slalom in Alta Badia is compulsory.
The skier who collects the most World Cup points in all four races will receive a cash prize and, in addition, a special tribute: a true-to-life wooden bust of the winner. A copy of the bust will be placed in the Hall of Fame at the Saslonch Hut right on the World Cup slope.
