The open-air art gallery, with works by artists from the Dolomites region, is quite unique. The Tru di Artisc (artists' path) between La Villa and San Cassiano was created in summer 2011 and a new sculpture is added every year. Continuing across meadows and pasture land, you pass through San Cassiano to Armentarola at the feet of the Lavarela and Conturines.

Also ideal for families.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the bus stop in the centre of La Villa, descend eastwards until you reach the Gadera river and follow the directions for San Cassiano (nr. 11). At the moment the path is detoured by a quite steep bypass and therefore not suitable for strollers. After 1h 30min. You continue your way on the Tru di Artisc/Path of Artists that goes along the Gadera stream and will lead you to the village of San Cassiano (1526 m) (50 min.). From here, you can continue in the same direction, slightly uphill at the start but then becoming more even, through the beautiful pastures until reaching Armentarola (1621 m) and the bus stop.
