Extremly enjoyable excursion which, from Piz Sorega/San Cassiano crosses the white meadows of Pralongiá.

The panorama is spectacular, stretching as it does from the Lavarela to the Lagazuoi, the Marmolada glacier to the "Grup dl Sela", from Puez to Pütia, and looking North, right up to the glaciers of the Central Alps on their border with Austria.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Piz Sorega, set off south-west on trail nr. 21/A, passing the Ütia Las Vegas Hut, in the direction of Pralongiá.

The road continues, more or less on the flat, through breathtaking high mountain meadows, and, after half an hour, you will reach the Ütia de Bioch Hut (2073 m). Now take the trail on the left, nr. 23, and go south, which will take you along the ridge and splendid meadows in flower to the Ütia Pralongiá Hut (2135 m). The view over the nearby Dolomites is superb.
