From Col Alt to Piz Arlara, Bioch and Pralongià
Overview: Enjoyable and relaxing walk through the flowering meadows of the Pralongià plateau. From a convenient distance, admire the setting of mountains which surround Alta Badia, east lies the Sas dla Crusc, the Lavarela and Conturines, the Marmolada to the south, while the west is home to the Grup dl Sela and the Puez with the majestic Sassongher, symbol of Corvara.
Starting point: Corvara (1555 m) - Col Alt lift
Itinerary: From Col Alt, on an unsurfaced road (23/B), go southeast downhill until reaching a ridge.
Now follow trail nr. 23 towards Pralongià, climbing up through a sparse wood and meadows until arriving at the Ütia Piz Arlara Hut (2003 m). Eastwards through the meadows will bring you to a junction just before the Ütia I Tablà Hut.
Keeping to the right, continue on the slightly uphill trail nr. 23, which leads, between the bushes,
to the Ütia de Bioch Hut (2079 m). Now on the flat, continue southwards along the ridge between the meadows, until reaching the Ütia Pralongià Hut (2157 m) (1h 20min.). Corvara - Col Alt - Pralongià - Corvara From Col Alt to Piz Arlara, Bioch and Pralongià The descent to Corvara (1h 20min.) is via the trail to the south-west,
nr. 24, towards the Ütia La Marmotta Hut, then right, going north,crossing firstly a sparse wood, then over the meadows, by the hotels Arlara and Panorama, before finally arriving at Corvara.
End point: Corvara - bus stop (1555 m)
