Stüa Magazine
Twice a year, the pages of Stüa tell the story of Alta Badia through the people who call it home, Ladin culture, its landscapes and the traditions that preserve its identity. An invitation to step inside, slow down and discover the region from a unique perspective.
There is a place that has always held the heart of Ladin homes. It is the stüa: the room where people gather, where time slows down and stories are passed from one generation to the next. Between the warmth of the wood and the scent of everyday life, this space preserves memories, gestures and traditions that continue to reveal the deepest identity of the Dolomites.
It is from this idea that Stüa, the official magazine of Alta Badia, was born. A stüa made of pages to be turned, opening its doors to those who wish to discover this region beyond its landscapes. A place for meeting and storytelling, where the voices of the valley find their space and become a shared memory.
Where every story begins
Stüa is much more than a magazine: it is a space where stories of people, nature, culture, design and identity come to life. An invitation to slow down, observe and discover the region through the eyes of those who experience it every day.
Across its pages, the faces of those who live in these mountains, their crafts, Ladin culture, nature, flavours and landscapes that change with the seasons all find a place. There are ideas, ancient gestures and visions looking towards the future: a collective portrait of Alta Badia, told through those who live it, care for it and share its story
The editorial concept, copywriting and photographic art direction were developed by franzLAB, a Bolzano-based communication studio and publishing house. The graphic design was created by CMFF, a visual communication studio specializing in brand identity, editorial design and exhibition design.
Stüa is our way of opening a door and sharing who we are. A project that goes beyond traditional tourism communication, giving space to the stories, people and values that make Alta Badia unique.
You can find the magazine at tourist offices, accommodations and numerous local businesses throughout Alta Badia. An invitation to take a piece of this place with you and continue the journey even after turning the final page.
Happy reading.
