Sön les pedies dla laurs - Excursion to the spectacular Conturines cave
- 08:30 AM-04:00 PM
At 2750 meters above sea level, a 200 meters long bear's cave was found in 1987. The cave contained fossilised skulls and bones. Investigations revealed that the Conturines bears were a new species that had never been recorded before, they were called "Ursus ladinicus", the Ladin bears. In order to reach this unique cave, you have to overcome 1000 meters of high altitude crossing in part a steep scree slope.
