The Sas de Stria mountain bears the indelible marks of one of the most tragic events of the twentieth century, the First World War and in particular, of the bloody battles in the Alps. You have the possibility to follow the traces of the First World War, including trenches that have been restored.

Information and reservation at the tourist offices within the day before (limited places).

Itinerary: Passo Valparola (2.168 m) – Sas de Stria peak (2.477 m) – visit to the Museum Forte Tre Sassi

Difficulty: medium

Meeting: 9.00 a.m. La Villa Tourist Office (with private car to the Passo Valparola)

Return: approx. 3.30 p.m.

Altitude diff.: ↑↓ approx. 294 m

Walking approx. 3 hours

Lunch: packed lunch

Equipment: trekking shoes, mountain wear and mountain sticks

Guide: Alpine guide

P.S.: For trained people who do not suffer from vertigo (equipped trail).
