Na MUNT de emoziuns - Emotions up high with Simon Gietl

- 09:15 PM-10:45 PM
“So many mountains, so lucky” – a meeting with Simon Gietl (in German language).
His path first took him to be a carpenter and he was already 18 years old when the mountain conquered him and he did not want to let it go anymore.
In 2009, he met the Swiss Roger Schäli and set out with him on his first expedition to the Fitz Roy (3406m) in the Argentine-Chilean Andes. Since this year, Simon makes larger expeditions once or twice a year.
Being a father and nevertheless being on the steepest walls in the world, climbing routes that no one has climbed before, is not a contradiction for Simon. It is the adventurer that drives him, the "total package" of the expedition, not just a summit.
