Climate and weather forecast for South Tyrol and Alta Badia

 

The climate in Alta Badia is a typical alpine microclimate with mild summers – an average temperature of 18/20°C during the day and 10°C at night. Septembers are mild but October and November can be cold with occasional snow.

Winters are long and cold and from December to February average temperatures are below zero and night time temperatures can fall to minus 20°C. There are great differences between daytime and night time temperatures. Winters are snowy but approximately 100 days of sunshine between December and March is the norm.

The hottest month of the year is July, while September, with cooler temperatures and good visibility, is often called the month for walking.
