Climate, weather forecast and snow report for the Dolomites and Alta Badia

The climate in Alta Badia is a typical alpine microclimate with mild summers: average temperature of 18/20°C during the day and 10°C at night. To a mild September it follows a cold October and in November it’s not seldom to see the first snow flocks. Now a long and cold winter starts. From December to February the average temperature is below 0°C with a minimum of -20°C at night. The temperature differences between day and night are significant. Although the area receives a lot of snow in winter, it can still count at about 100 days of sun between December and March.
The hottest month during the year is July, while September, with his fresh and clear days, is called the "the excursionists month".
